But in the age we live today, people try to tell me all the time that i cannot say certain things or my opinion is could be seen as offensive. Basicly it came on the news that Elton John and his boyfriend were addopting a baby, and i gave my opinion, which was and still is, i don't think it rite for Gay couples to adopt children. And i will stress straight away that i am not questioning their parenting skills whatsoever, they are probably excellent at it. My issue and concern is for the child when reaching school age and the probable bullying and name calling the youngster will have to face. Now i know many people will not aggree with what i have just said and that fine. Myself personally, even though i know that remark i just made is deemed homophobic and classed as a hate remark which is utter crap. I think its realistic, not homophobic. See thats where political correctness with gay rites has become stupid. Basicly any remark or opinion you may have that the gay community will not aggree with, will be classed as Homophobic and you will be told you cant say that. Politically Correct means not allowed an opinion. I have believe in a Creator of this Universe for example, but keep being told by scientists that it came about by a big bang. Can i claim this is God-ophobic towards me'?' No its just their opinion, a different one to my own and thats cool, thats why its called an opinion. The point i am trying to make is, whilst i believe there should be laws in place to protect people from any type of discrimination, we've gone to the edge and over it with political correctness.

@ Welshchappie...

In regards to Moran, being declared unfit to face trial for the fraud/theft of 60k.

You may already be aware that recently in Wales a woman (careworker) who stole 6k from one of the old ladies accounts that she cared for was given a 16 month sentence. No consideration was given to her unfitness to plead because not so long ago her family went through a bereavement, a very tragic one indeed.

I am not stating that the careworker should ot have been placed before the courts because theft is theft but is it not forked tongued of the Justiciary/CPS to convict one and not even attempt to bring another to court.

However, we should all be aware that Moran is a "particular person."
In legislation at least... ;)

I really am just sick to death of the corruption and 'One rule for one....". If i believed for one second that Moran was genuinely unfit to face charges i wouldn't be so angered. "We are all equal in the eys of the law" & "No man is above the law". Its just a shame that there are people out there that still believe this properganda.

In law, we are all equal.

In legislation, some are more equal than others...

So one must enquire as to which law THEY refer to... ;)
