debt collector/water bill

hey folks, just a quickie... lewis debt collection are on my case about a water bill i have not paid for a few years. does anybody know if i can send template letters regarding the CCA etc if this is for a utilities bill? or can i go ahead and go down that route due to the fact that its a debt collection company that are hassling me and not the water authority/board?

I enjoyed a lengthy phonecall once from Debeo debt recvery regarding my overdue amount with severn trent. They got bored, and passed the debt to somebody else, Wescot. So i plain ignored wescot, and they passed it to another, and another, etc, until now we're past the loop and back to severn trent again. Do yourself a favour and pay a smal amount say a quid a fortnight, that will keep you out of court, then just laugh heartily when the debt collector letters arrive

the letters from the debt recov say that i am not to contact the water board to pay anything, im susposed to pay the debt people lols. so i figured if i do slip the water board a few quid of postal orders that might steal the fire from the debt collectors? i was reading into using the templates where one asks for CCA agreements etc, but like i said i dont know if this will fly with a utilities bill

Hi Harry here, not sure if you are still active for this post but I am leaving Severn Trent and using my own ater supply from rainwater. ( I have large roof plus next door`s water too). I understand you live in flats or a flat. Did you know evrone has to pay a percentage of rainwater from the roof going down the drains as part o your bill? This means that people living in flats apartments or high rise blocks pay too. Howver, the rainwater per head of roof square footage is far less for people like you. But, you still pay the same !! great eh?

My friend who asked Severn Trent had no answer back. So he went to his MP who also said "I ca`nt help you" as he could not understand why either! This is something Severn Trent want to hush up ! I have a 250 watt solar panel to power my three 2000 ltr. tanks with a small 24 volt pump and two car battery backups. Then a 200 ltr bio-sand filter. I only need Severn Trent for emergencies. Stuffem !

By the way, you could threaten to claim compensation for your lack of response and igborance from Severn Trent in the form of first an invoice, and then an online County Court procedure which costs you £25.00. If they do not sort it within two weeks of this Summons they have to pay you. I did it for a friend whose drill blew up outside the first year warranty (Bosch UK) but the shop said it had two years. after getting no where for three years I issued the Summons. They paid up plus £300 compensation on top ! Its a poor mans Justice on the big boys like Severn Trent. Let me know how you have been going on. Kind regards, Harry.
