Returning to petitions, I should like to add this one regarding blocking Blairs attempts at becoming the EU president

Tried to sign but received the following...

"The following errors occurred

* Your details have already been recorded. GoPetition does not allow duplicate signatures."

I haven't previously signed this petition, so, either the website is wonky, someone has signed on my behalf, or someone doesn't want me to sign it.

Call me paranoid Paul! ;)

Sorry to hear that Paul.

At the time of posting that this morning I hadn't had time to sign it myself. I just did with no problem however despite my rant

"Petition against the nomination of Tony Blair as "President of the European Union" 12025 Signatures

You have just signed the petition Petition against the nomination of Tony Blair as "President of the European Union". Your signature has been successfully recorded."

"We all knew your stances were due a big pay off and frankly it was insulting to see you as Middle East Peace Envoy. It is however doubly insulting that you may actually get such a position as EU president. I sincerely hope the people of the world can express their dissatisfaction at such a premise strongly enough to see your chances halted at the first hurdle and yourself in a rightful position, incarcerated as a war criminal after a lengthy and embarrassing trial in the Hague with your friends"
