excellent! 21st it is then. Cathays is fine by me - is Mr Smith's quietish? Never been in. We need somewhere not too noisy so we can hear ourselves think!
some other places:
- shot in the dark, city road
- milgi's, city road
- juno lounge, wellfield road
Preferably a child-friendly place because I know one of the people coming has a 12-y-o.

on a sunday i think most of these places would be fairly quiet.

corkers the pub down the road from me has a function room - the Royal Oak (Newport Road). I'll have a scout around for a suitable regular venue so we can get more people involved. I'd love to have John come to Cardiff!!

Are we on for the 21st then? do you guys prefer afternoon or evening?
