Hi,
Thanks for this info Darren. I'm going to attempt to use the N9 form with regards to my court summons for driving without an MOT. I'll let you know how i get on. Any word on how your council tax case turned out in the end?

Thanks Darren: a nice form to have indeed, seeing as I still worry about the form of some letters!

I intend to be using this shortly against a Notice and Demand I sent in about a 20-sections of SMS (not advisable) , after I was cut off the the phone trying to prevent harm to my child. I got a harassment arrest out of that effort, because after all , I am a father. Will I be charged? Let's see.

I certainly don't intend to defend in a magistrates court, where I imagine they will rule on the number of messages (already called 'numerous', rather than 'a number of'). That is, where none of the content is repeated or threatening, and the respondent knew what it was about. Only I didn't Label it as Notice and Demand, it merely was Notice and Demand. :)

You need an n244 form also or else after filing the original form after 14 days you submit to the jurisdiction through default.

In future don't post unless you're going to put all the info in the original post, for all you know people could have taken your word for it and just filed the first form and thought nothing else of it and then through default submitted to the jurisdiction, picture some "freeman" walking into court after 14 days and spouting off jurisdiction blah blah blah!!! The judge would just jail him/her immediately for contempt of court.
