Below is the award judges in regards to Council boss of the year. Please email them opposing the award going to Mr Ball of Basildon. Below is a template you can copy if you like.

Dear Sir and madam
I would beseech you not to award Mr T Ball council boss of the year. The whole matter of Dale Farm is still being played out in Essex and court rooms and the council stand accused of over enforcing!
To award him while this is out standing and seemingly for the destruction of peoples land, regardless of the rights or wrongs of the case, really does seem crass and would further smear the name of this country in the eyes of the world.
The fact that the council were considering a list of greenbelt land for future development while planning and orchestrating the clearance of Dale farm is worrying.
Also just recently the council have recommended building a dogs compound with allowance for 2 houses on green belt land in the Basildon council area!
For the sake of the reputation of this country please do not award this accolade to Mr Ball, to do so in my opinion will distract from others who might be in line for it in the future. If the council are found to be guilty of over enforcement in this matter, and there is a good chance they might be, what worth the award then?

Thank you for the time in reading this address.

Yours

Lets not let this man be awarded for his actions.

they should make no application at all. in this instance application is supplication - they are to beg for the security of their homes before those who just torch people out their homes. this is a basic human right that has been violently denied and there is no point living on your knees before thpse who openly infringe your right to life.

This poll has been upgraded to a story poll so there is a new link. We really need people to vote on this. You dont have to join the site or anything like that. Hit that NO button now.

Can you put this out where ever you can

The rat got the award, what does that say about councils in this country.

To those who lobbied the judges off here, well at least we tried, to those who didn't bother lobbying, well of course you didn't!

CORRECTION CORRECTION CORRECTION!

Whatever happened, Tony Ball, who had written out his acceptance speech, DIDN'T get the award! His own colleagues apprantly put a last minute block on it!

Well Done all who contacted the award judges! They listened! The local rag, The Echo, have completely ignored the snub even though they were ramping up to head line his victory! They refused to comment today when contacted, en masse, and asked why they have not run a story on the kick in the balls Tony wreaker Ball got from his own lot.

A kick right in the Tony Balls

Great bit of news! Well done all who took the time to voice their discontent. :D

And so the despicable leader Ball, fresh from his defeat at the hands of the Traveller supporters and thus minus his award, now tries to move people on from a private road! A road that the owner says they can stay on! Notice how even the biased paper is using the term "wave"
