No they don't and you have no legal basis to make that comment, you've just made that up. Try reading council tax legislation and would you mind not posting adverts on the forum?

Legislation is the CLAIM.

Duh..... :ugeek:

I know the answer to this one. As I worked for them. The simple answer is, if the amount is under a certain amount (an amount that i will not discuss) they will not take the person to court. Basically because it would cost them more to take them to court than the amount is over, which in this case is £40. They are not agreeing that CTax is unlawful, they are just admitting its not worth their time or money to take them to court. Unfortunately it is lawful as they work for the government who pass the laws in the first place.

Why wont you discuss the amount? Is it a secret? I dont believe for one minute they take into consideration the costs of taking someone to court! Reason why? if they didn't then it wouldn't be long before many many more would stop paying. They have to show they mean business and they use taxpayers money anyway!

When you say "worked" for them can we take it that is past tense?
Laugh my friends even if it kills you, for at least you'll die happy

everything is "IMO" if you want to argue ring your local jobsworth council officer...they love it..

Thank you for this brilliant post! The only problem I have is that the letters from Wirral Council, confirming all has been cancelled and there is nothing to pay - DO NOT GIVE REASONS !!! How can we know that cancellation was due to a Lawful Rebellion, and not another reason - such as surrender and payment? Sorry, but before I go down this road and try it myself, a little more is definitely required as proof.

Sorry, but the letters do not exactly read an 'admission of unlawfulness in council tax' do they? These are just your words...or have I missed a paragraph?

That's because they didn't admit that, it isn't unlawful and the title of this thread is, in fact, a lie.

A lie? in the eyes of ''WHAT'' straying from the point in question, as your fundamentally flawed reply is always the same, legislation, statutes this in under scrutiny and NOT what you prescribe to individuals! I see you may or may not be trying to help but what are you exactly doing ?

It is plane for all to see that you are promoting policy and corralling in free thought, any attempt to look further then what is to norm, and to manipulate people in one direction. Your addvice is symptomatic of ''chosen law'' and not in ''reasoning'' '''you are told what to do and you do it without question''' this is what you exude form your addvice no more no less,, it is the actions of a ''lackey''of the state and not someone intrested in revealing corruption, injustice and trying to impower ALL to see what is.

You are welcome to express your point of view but they all seem to be ONLY for one ''COMMON PURPUSE''

Whoa! Calm down Icke! And don't be so obtuse.

Wirral council did not say council tax was unlawful. Ok so maybe the OP believes that was said so obviously it can't be a lie. Conversely if they do believe that was said then they're not dishonest just completely stupid.
