Been a while since i posted on TPUC (been a while since i read loads of things on here!)

De-railing this thread a bit but.....

WTF???? Why are downloads from this site of documentation being monitored?????

We all know that visiting here carries certain risks with the powers that be... they don't like things like this and if they could find a legal way to incarsarte people for telling the truth / having an opinion they would.

Then we read a forum where the admins are monitoring (so i assume logging) what forms and links are being downloaded and how frequently! If the powers that be ever manage to get hold of those logs becase they "claim" its to insite some cr4p they say is illegal then everyone who's donloaded it is in for a world of greif!

TheStodge I don't know the full details of what this threads about and haven't seen the full details but i will not be downloading the files to find out knowing your monitoring the logs on it!

Most people are on here to get away from a "Big Brother" type enviroment... Please do us all a favor - if any admin has logs on any downloads for this site - delete them now and military wipe the drive so none of us are put in any risk!

Tamara, the man has terminal cancer as you know. Can you imagaine what the effects this illness and drugs have on him? Please think before you post as you may find it funny posting pictures of violins and saying Dave is mental and a load of other things, but in this situation that humour is lost on me.

Arguing with each other, its not good. Forums are public, the ego will do anything it can to be seen, noticed and thought of as amazing - and when given a stage aka an internet forum, it can be let loose and cause havoc between people.

Both of you can go on and on and on, arguing and bitching with each other. But whats the point?
What will you prove? What will the outcome be? All it will do is inflate your ego.


Tamara - i worked with you for a short time when we both tried to help create daves site.
Dave - i worked with you quite a lot in creating your site.

What ive learnt from both of you is that you are both nice people (or should that be humans huh?) and as you are both nice i hope that you will understand that internet forums are a breeding ground for egos!

What i learnt in creating daves site, ok, i picked up on a few more tecchie things as am learning as i go along, but the main thing I learnt is that all the arguments are pointless. The internet forum aka the egos breeding ground does nothing other than to bring out the worst in us, our egos.
The valuable lesson I learnt and am still trying to learn is how to control the ego when using internet forums.


I consider you both as friends and even if you werent friends then its still not nice to see you arguing.

freshy is a good example of a human who has is ego well and truely sorted and in control. i think the 3 of us should learn from him eh? im trying to control my ego when using internet forums, i got a long way to go yyet, and a very long way to go before i reach freshys standards! but ill get there... and hope you both do as well!
