Has anyone listened to these videos....Micheal Cremo is a very qualified, scientificly based speaker...in the 90's he created big waves in the scientific/historic establishment, with his first book...and is very practical and logical with his presentation...he has lectured in universities all over the world.

if anyone does listen to this broadcast (12 parts)...i would be interested to hear your opinions

Land of Osiris Egypt documentry
http://projectcamelot.info/4160/land-of ... ocumentry/
Egyptologist Stephen S. Mehler has spent over 30 years researching the answers to these questions: • Was there a advanced prehistoric civilization in ancient Egypt? • Who were the people who built the great pyramids? • Who carved the Great Sphinx? • Did the pyramids serve as energy devices and not as tombs for kings? Mahler believes the answers are “Yes!” An indigenous oral tradition still exists in Egypt, he has been able to uncover and study it with the help of a living master of this tradition, Abd’El Hakim Awyan. He has also been given permission to share these teachings -presented heretofore in fragments by other researchers-to the Western World, teachings that unfold a whole new understanding of ancient Egypt.

These guys are creationists Mad! albeit vedic ones but creationists all the same.....

to claim that the scientific community has suppressed data is absurd in the extreme, getting the data out there is the whole reason for living of most scientists and it would be impossible to suppress their enthusiasm for sharing and comparing and publishing, which incidentally Cremo and Thomposn didnt ever do in recognised journals (before their big book of pseudo science) which is the normal way of proving personal credibility in the scientific community.

just found another review that I think is quite important

http://ncse.com/rncse/19/3/review-forbi ... gys-impact

Sorry Mad, I dont like disagreeing but I think this is a critically important debate.

quote from above link;

"What's more, Cremo is oblivious to biological context. One of many reasons why scientists accept evolution is because humans share numerous anatomical traits with all living mammals, not just primates. But if we embrace the notion that modern people lived on earth 600 million years ago, long before the arrival of other mammals, reptiles, fish, vertebrates, or any animal with a skeleton or hard body part, then biological patterns would be rendered senseless."

hi fractel...it seams this fella really gets your back up...did you listen to the broadcast? or read his books for yourself...or..are you making your judgement because of what others have written or said....i also find certain creationist stuff absurd,that the earth is only 6,000 years old and was made in 6 days..... at the same time, i also feel the scientific theory that order comes from disorder absurd.

i try not to look at who says what...but rather...what is said by who... cos sometimes some beautiful truths can be found in the most unusual of places.

i also hold the opinion that some great civilisations...with a great intellect, have occupied this planet long before the societies of the last 2000 years...cos there is evidence to be seen around us....how old is this planet we currently live upon?....2,000 of even 20,000 yrs...is no time at all if we look at the longer picture.
