What would happen if the monarchy was abolished tomorrow?

Parliament, and it's master Brussels, would have completely unrestrained ability to run roughshod over everyone's rights. The courts and judges would no longer be required to observe their oaths of office, which would multiply the ability of the treasonous scum in parliament to fully integrate us with the communist dicatorship of Europe with no chance of going back or getting out of it. The armed forces would instantly no longer owe alliegence to the crown and the british people the crown is sworn to serve, and would come under the direct control of Brussels by proxy of it's lapdog Parliament. After 1000 years, we would finally and irrevocably be defeated as a nation, and subjugated to napelonic law.

Simon, that is what you presume. And you can not represent your presumptions as fact.

If the monarchy was abolished tomorrow, then, my presumption would be this:

Parliament, MPs etc at the moment have to swear an oath to serve the queen.
It is us, the ordinary folk who put these people in their position of power. Yet, instead of those whom we put in power actually promising to serve us, or even take an oath to serve us, instead they take an oath to serve the queen.

Can't you see the irony in this and the injustice? We put people in power for them to act on our behalf, to protect us... Yet those very people we put in power have to make an oath to serve the queen and not the people.

Therefore, it follows that if the monarchy was abolished tomorrow, the very people we put in power would then be accountable to us and not that of an elitist and unelected head of state.

Turning to the armed forces, you presume that if the monarchy was abolished tomorrow, then the armed forces would be directly controlled by Brussels. Again, this is just your presumption. My presumption is that the armed forces would totally ignore Brussels and would exist to serve and protect the people belonging to their country.
This would also be a step toward world peace since the armed forces would no longer be under any authority (other than that of the people) and as such wars fought and lives lost in the name of OIL would no longer exist.

We are already well on our way to becoming a Republic and it's being done so that we can then be subjugated to the new Empire of Europe.

The Royals are unable to prevent this from happening, since they have no power any more.

Saxe-Coburg and Gotha... the original german name for the royal family... and havent you heard of the British empire?
The Queen controls how many countries? The royal family have the power to stop us being subjugated to the European empire. But, of course, they are not going to use this power since it is in their interests not to.

The monarchy, or HM... We have HM Treasury that creates money, we also have HM Customs & Excise that takes money. Why the treasury can not give money to customs and excise? Because the people need to be kept in servitude, as slaves - in order for the monarchy and various parts of its extended family all across europe to be kept in a lifestyle to which they are accustomed. So, of course, the royals have power to stop us being subjugated to the European empire, but it is not in their interests to do this.

The queens money? Her money is in a few different countries. Money is a myth, an illusion, based on no other value than that of belief. Money comes into existence from debt. Debt can never be paid off, its impossible.

Abolish the monarchy, - MPs are then accountable to us, not the monarchy. Instead of serving the monarchy, MPs would be duty bound to serve us, the people. Aboloshing the monarchy would then get rid of the Queens money, and that is something that keeps us enslaved to the system under our legal fiction.

Must finish here. I hear my telescreen saying: "here comes a chopper to chop off your head" ;)

What difference does it make, they still break their oaths anyway, politicians are lying scumbags.

They are trusted to run HM Government, which is owned by HM who herself is sworn to uphold the law and protect the rights and freedoms of the British people.

If you represent the structure as a pyramid, at the top you have God, then next it's YOU the member of the public, then the Queen, then the Government at the bottom. Your whole conception of what is going on is upside down, and your looking at it with the eyes of ignorance which you wilfully defend instead of bothering to educate yourself as to how the system really works and why it is setup how it is.

Bullshit, they would be about as accountable to us as the Government of America is to it's people... your concept of government structure DOESN'T WORK. For hundreds of years thousands of scholars have studied these things but now suddenly you llewop, have the answer?

What planet are you living on??

The Queen is the head of the armed forces. Removing the monarchy will make the Prime Minister the head of the armed forces, and since we are currently under the Lisbon treaty and Parliament is a fully owned and controlled extension of the EU Parliament, that would mean our Armed forces would be under the control of an Office which itself is under the control of the EU. The only way out of that would be to break that treaty, an act which may well be considered an act of WAR on Europe and lead to another massive armed conflict, only this time instead of just facing Germany and a few allies, we would be facing the entire might of the EU unless other countries broke away and joined us. The result could be absolutely catastrophic.

Authority of the people.... dream on. You actually believe that the Royals are responsible for the wars over OIL?. Nearly the entire military war machine runs on fuel made from oil, the generals know that and they know that it would be extremely expensive and difficult to replace their hardware with electrically powered war machines, hence their desperation to maintain military superiority by annexing the remaining Oil supplies of the world.

Who gives a shit what their real family name is? They are just human beings who bleed red blood like the rest of us, it makes f all difference where they come from, and yes of course I've heard of the British empire, it's what we got right after Cromwell turned us into a Republic, when history proved, once again that republics, always seed empires.

llewop wrote:The Queen controls how many countries?

She doesn't control countries, you blatantly have no clue what the role of a Constitutional Monarch is.

Condemnation of something you don't understand is the height of ignorance ~ Albert Einstein

You yourself mentioned that the Royals have not countermanded the will of parliament for over 300 years, and now your asking how many countries the Queen controls?

llewop wrote:The royal family have the power to stop us being subjugated to the European empire. But, of course, they are not going to use this power since it is in their interests not to.

It's absolutely in their interests to prevent the UK being swallowed by the EU, because if the UK is lost to it, then a similar process can occur in Canada, Austrailia, and every other commonwealth country, until the entire commonwealth has been disbanded and every commonwealth nation subsumed, completely ending the notion of Common Law and the bringing with it the final defeat of the concept of law derived from the public upwards and binding all the way to the top.

The UK has been in a state of bankruptcy since 1869. Since that point we have been in debt and never got out of it, it has fuck all to do with the Royals and everything to do with the fact that the scumbags in parliament consistently spend more and more money every year selling off debt bonds and such to pay for stuff we need and then using the vast majority of the tax revenues they make from us to pay the interest on our huge debts.

llewop wrote:The queens money? Her money is in a few different countries. Money is a myth, an illusion, based on no other value than that of belief. Money comes into existence from debt. Debt can never be paid off, its impossible.

... you said something based in facts...

That is complete and utter rubbish. Just look at America.. they have a system like what your suggesting, and just how accountable are their representitives to the people... not very! Your whole argument is made up of pie-eyed eutopian pipe-dreams and wishful woolly thinking, and all the time your completely failing to understand the true value of the system that your condemning through your ignorance.

All it would mean is that we would end up printing different faces on the banknotes, it would not absolve us of our national debt, which incidentally if we refused to pay would probably be considered an act of war by the nations who hold billions of pounds worth of UK government bonds.
