Freedom of speech

Postby MorningStar » Sat May 19, 2012 2:47 am

***WARNING THIS POST MAY CONTAIN RUDE WORDS***

Racism is wrong, racist people annoy me, and any kind of hate filled mumbo jumbo really gets my back up, BUT....
I honestly think that trying to prevent people saying certain words or phrases is detrimental to the mental wellbeing of all members of society, and about as useful as trying to decide who other people should or should not sleep with, or what they should or should not put in their bodies.

I have, in the past, been referred to as a 'fucking nigger lover', and also told that 'if I don't turn to the Lord, then I will suffer in eternity'. Both of these statements I found to be rather offensive, BUT....people should be allowed to say whatever they please, whenever they please, this encourages honesty, and open debate on any subject. It also prevents a verbal or written exchange being 'lawfully' escalated into the initiation of physical force, or theft of property.

In many places, both public and private there is a chain of rules, sometime written in red, sometimes not written at all, and almost always so horrifically subjective and open to interpretation, and therefore abuse, they may as well not exist at all. BUT....I may be wrong, maybe we do need certain rules to keep us in line, and to protect us from the harm words can do, I would love to hear what you think.

And for anyone that was wondering, yes I do like big BUTs :D

.

"Freedom of speech," is a lie and propaganda used by the so-called ptb to use liberalism against people.

For instance should people have the right to promote with "Freedom of speech" which will cause harm, loss and injury to others, of course people will defend that right, to defend their selfish ways (use it against you/us.) Which is why the so-called ptb promote much of it "Freedom of speech" when it suits and take it away when it doesn't.

Is it right and Lawful to do that.

And for anyone that was wondering, yes I do like big BUTs :D

Not children's I hope :?: Or, who really needs to know that if its directed towards adults such as rights for queers when everyone should be able to do what they want in their own home, why is it promoted as a right in public. As for morality, you take your chances and choices in the universe of cause and effect. It doesn't excuse promotion of queers in public, because of the harm, loss and injury it can cause selfishly towards others and to them.

The concept of a "Freedom of speech" is very much like "This is a free country" which is very much like "These chains you have put me in are not that heavy"

On saying that, the concept of freedom of speech, imo, should never supersede a individuals right not to be abused because of their race, colour, sexual leanings, gender, disability, age. I suppose most other things are up for discussion.

I agree people should be allowed to sleep with who they want (when will some one pick me?) put what they want in their bodies and as often as they like, i have often gone to an Ann Summers shop to tell them they have my support and never never to browse.
Laugh my friends even if it kills you, for at least you'll die happy

everything is "IMO" if you want to argue ring your local jobsworth council officer...they love it..

They can can't they in the privacy of their own homes, but why should you defend the right to "Freedom of speech" in public for people to cause possible harm, loss, injury, to others.

Its falling for:

PROTOCOL 1
THE BASIC DOCTRINE
Right lies in Might – Politics versus Morals – The End justifies the Means – "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" – The New Aristocracy.
1:16.
Out of the temporary evil we are now compelled to commit will emerge the good of an unshakeable rule, which will restore the regular course of the machinery of the national life, brought to naught by liberalism. The result justifies the means. Let us, however, in our plans, direct our attention not so much to what is good and moral as to what is necessary and useful.

Are we on about the same thread...im sure i said freedom of speech imo dosen't supersede peoples rights not to be abused, doesn't that fall in with cause no loss, injury.

Woman what women? "penis" ? Tom what are you on about?
Are you watching a reality porn film where you can request they carry out what you ask as you dip in and out of this forum (as it were)

Tom your itching to argue but there will be someone along shortly (vanilla) who you can argue more deservedly with. You are struggling to find a row, be patient giddy tom and your wish will come true. Even as we write vanilla is probably running through obscure rule books to try fit some ancient rule to one thread or another.

Just like me you too are not beyond correction for our own good.

Saying that speech can cause harm or loss is simply to justify the initiation of physical force against an individual for saying something you do not like, no?

No, not at all. If people encourage others to do bad things by speech then people are more likely to do bad things and then it will be used against everyone (by all the corrupt legislation, taking peoples rights away.) Let alone cause you/us harm in the universe of cause and effect, spiritually.
