|Work Programme (advice needed)

Postby asphodel » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:19 pm

hey guys, ive been refered to a work prog provider last week. today the letter came in the post about my appointment with them.
ive read loads of the sites about refusing the programme and sending off letters etc, not sure if they work.

in fact when i was refered at the jobcentre i refused to sign the action plan at the jobcentre and they advisor told me that the form was for me to take away anyways. but shes signed it and theres a space for my sig too.

im wondering what to do next, any ideas? should go without saying that im against the WP, however i am looking for work.

i know about not signing the DPA waiver if i ever do go to the training provider, as then they cant send out yr details to the 'employers' who take you on for yr dole money.

all ive signed for is to say ive recieved letter WP05 from jobcentre, not that id read it or whatever just that they gave me that letter. ive not signed any other agreement at all.

work provider even claim they tried to ring me, which is odd as i told the jobcentre i no longer have a phone and to remove my tel no. have they (the provider) already breached the DPA by processing my info without permission.

I am aware that at all times the JC+ are the 'handlers' of date and the providers are the 'processors'.

i know the whole thing is basically borderline illegal/illegal so what do think my next move is?
anyone else faced with the prospect of this ?

cheers

I also have a letter for the Mantadory Work activity Scheme.. It's unenforceable this regulation. Might interest you?

People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices...
