you need a NI number fella

just like if you want a passport, child benefit, anything which comes from the state is all reliant upon being in the system.

its like wanting to suck a lollypop but not wanting the stick - the stick is part and parcel
this is just zarks viewpoint and should not be considered FACT. it is truth.

If you want something from the state, the state will expect something in return. I believe the deal is that you work towards not claiming benefits and the benefits will keep coming. That's whats on offer from them and under common law you can accept or reject that offer so forming a contract. Neither you nor they can alter the contract but you will notice that they do from time to time which means is not an agreement under common law but under statutory law. If they were to write in that contract that they can alter it but you cant it would be an unfair condition of contract and voidable at law but under statute its a case of they have all the guns and you will starve to death if you dont do what they say when they say it. I dont think any charity founded on law would offer you a much better deal but it would be a little more secure than having contracts and freely associating with violent gun toting maniacs. I know they dont have such impressively peaceful receptionists but have you considered approaching the mafia for charity who are at least a little more honest about what their business is.
