Peter Hitchens on the UK's EU takeover

Postby Reflecter » Thu Nov 08, 2007 2:18 am

Not a personal favour of mine. I prefer his brothers religious views but hate his abhorrent war time views. However this recent article from a few days ago is of interest to this organisation.

This is too frightening and too important to ignore any longer.

If we don't want to become a neglected outstation of the European Superstate, stripped of our nationhood, powerless to decide who lives here, controlled by laws we don't make and can't change, ruled by a government we cannot throw out, we have rather a short time in which to do something about it.

You may think none of this matters to you, but the trouble is that it does, whether you think so or not.

The European Union is interested in you, your liberty and your money, even if you don't care about it.

Its decisions affect your life, even if you don't realise they do.

When I point out that local councils are changing rubbish collections because of EU laws, people don't believe me.

Of all the newspapers it had to be in the one I hate the most! However, as long as the message gets out it doesn't matter how or where.

Im going to attempt to get the following posted in response to Peters article;

Is it correct?

"As an influential, confirmed & communicant member of the Church of England, it is with surprise that I applaud your valiant appeal for the public to solve this quandry Peter. There is but one course of action, unpleasant as it is, in the face of creeping EU domination. That is to prove that we are not and never can be members of the EU, due to the enshrined rights bestowed upon us by our hard fought for Constitution and Bill of Rights 1689. According to Halsbury, acts against the Constitution are acts of Treason. Hence Brown is claiming we need a new one & sly alterations of the Treason laws a few years ago, to save a few necks. The Queen and our Parliament have breached the Constitution, foresaken perogative powers only we can give up or bestow & have attempted to dull our senses. The terms of The Act & Oath of Supremacy 1534/1559 extended to all church & public positions of office, MP's and students are unrepealable, non-negotiable and clear cut. A cancer of common purpose blinds us."
