Something I've been working on.....

Postby Pete2403 » Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:21 pm

I've rather dedicated myself for about the last year into working out why everything feels wrong....and I'm working on solutions....so I thought I'd share them with people here....

I'd be very interested to know what people thought because these ideas make sense to me, but they seem so different to how things are currently run, that I could do with some feedback....

The document is written in Open Office, but should open in Word....but the formatting might be a bit wayward....apologies for that.....and I promise it has no viruses!!

Hi Pete2403,

Excellent piece of work in progress there. I've only read it the once but it makes a lot of sense and I can see the document being v.useful in reaching those who are unsure/unwilling to acknowledge the iceberg like global agenda. In my opinion you cover a number of issues which any layman or woman will be cross or disillusioned about. So that's the door - for them to open and discover more.
Regards,

Tom

Hi Pete
I'm not a member of Zeitgeist movement. I just watched the movies. Well made movies - mabe a few errors in there, but generally very good at trying to deal with lots of subjects etc.

I had a look at your e-book. Nice work. Some nice ideas. I think you mentioned something that seemed to be suggesting that if people want to vote for stuff in a political system (e.g. democracy) then the technology exists for them to vote via their tv remote controls. Absolutely agree. What you'd get there, is, people interested in a particular debate, would certainly vote. People who didn't bother to vote, would certainly begin to vote when they saw that things weren't happening to their satisfaction. Basically this works like a free market. Nobody can hijack the system.

Mike Gravel - senator for Alaska when running for usa president last year actually proposed something like this during a long interview. (Mike Gravel knows how rotten the system is and he actually tells people too - in public - at least, during this interview he did).

Having said all that, I don't like systems of government. Personally I think democracy is a crappy political philosophy. Republic may be a bit more sensible i guess if you must have a government. Remember Aaron Russo said that a democracy is like 2 wolves and a sheep sitting at a table discussing what's for dinner. He then said in a republic, the sheep would have a gun. Quite nice image.

Now, during your ebook, it seemed you may be a bit concerned about CO2 emissions. Be very careful here. (Of course you can believe what you want to believe), but distinguish between CO2 emissions and actual pollution - e.g. mercury in rivers and toxic chemicals in the air and so on. That is pollution.

CO2 is not a toxin - in the sense we mean here.
What has happened here with this "global melting" rubbish is that politicians have been allowed to dictate what science is. If that continues, we will end up in the dark ages - guaranteed.

This global climate shite is not based on science. There is no science to indicate either way. (In fact there is some science which may be indicating that we may be entering a cooling period).

This climate change rubbish is pretty easy to see through.
John Christie happens to be a real scientist - you may know of him. (Just one example of lots of real scientists trying to demonstrate real science instead of corporate propaganda)

This is nice - quite easy to read in 5 or 10 mins - it's a kind of summary if you like.

Sorry about going on about this - mabe you are already aware of what this climate panic is all about - I dunno.

Anyway, I enjoyed reading your ebook and I think it seems sensible enough to me....... A decent start, at least. You're right, that things will have to go through a gradual transition to a better state. - The masses couldn't handle being free all at once.
Thanks for telling me about it.

Cheers for now

Well I did mention that C02 isn't a problem in itself it just needs to be counterbalanced with trees...which seems ridiculously obvious to me!!

Anyway, the reason I proposed what I did is that I can see this agenda being created, and the ready made solutions being wheeled out....carbon trading and carbon taxes....they'll comodify and then create taxes on the building block of what we need to breathe....madness....so I thought a cogent, well considered response which gets away from that would be a good idea, plus it would bolster our economy and create jobs in the process....

Whether global warming is a reality or not isn't really the issue I was addressing....merely trying to get away from the pre-designed responses to the issue....and forward my pro-hemp agenda at the same time.....

I can't deny I'm wary of politicised science....I keep reading about impending water shortages which might lead to wars....this on a planet 70% covered with water!!!

In regards to Democracy, I think the idea of people participation would destroy the traditional two party system....each issue put to the public would be debated on TV in the proceeding weeks, so that you would have ample opportunity to hear both sides of the argument and make your decision from there.....politicians would move the debate out of the Commons or the Senate, which is between themselves....and open the floor up to everyone....

I'm not sure this would be democracy as we know it today....but maybe more true to its etymology.....demos (people) kratos (rule)....

Anyway.....thanks for reading it.....and cheers for the George Carlin link....I had watched it before but it resonated more this time!!

Personally, I think George Carlin and Bill Hicks should be mandatory viewing for all free thinking individuals!!!
