Thanks all for your advice regarding this issue of mine, time to inform you of the outcome, i ignored all requests regarding the nip and subsequent "requests for information" result is after 4 months of them unsuccessfully sending letters and my ignoring them i still have my liberty, my licence, no points, no fine, no contact has been to my home address. if this state continues after 6 months from the date of the nip it is officially "timed out" so i guess im in luck !!!!

Many thanks all, oh and by the way i threw my census form in the bin lol can anyone on here tell me what is the law u break if u dont reply to it, and is there a case for invasion of privacy over some of the questions contained in what is intrinsically supposed to be a count and the name census suggests????

Hi I to am in the process of trying to deal with a speeding offence as they put it, I received the notice of intended prosecution and sent my own letter, a rejection for cause sent signed for. they have just replied with this letter the have not acknowledged the first letter i sent, but this looks like another offer to contract with slightly better terms for me. any advice would be most appreciated thank's, how can i put a copy of the letter into my post as a jpeg?

hi all, not been on for a while, work stuff and all that, however, just thought id fill you in on what happened with the original NIP, NOTHING!!!!! no fine, no points, no police arresting me and dragging me off to court whoopee, HOWEVER, i did get stopped by a lovely officer hiding on the runcorn\widnes bridge in march and got zapped doing 55 in a 40, i had no option but to take the fine ( was in a works van), but, today i recieved a NIP as yet unopened, to my own address ( i have looked at it thru a very bright light) and in my own car in mancs i apparently was doing 40+ in a 30, NIP is being returned to sender as i did with the 1st one and we shall see how we get on with it, if they cant identify the driver even tho they can identify the car, they cant prosecute, however, you can get done for perjury or obstruction if you DONT give information, i agree with one of the previous posts, ignorance is indeed bliss!!! I shall keep in touch to let you all know what happens, who knows i may need legal advice!!! respect to all xx
