Car stolen by the DVLA

Two weeks ago I was pulled over by the police and DVLA crooks had my keys snatched from the ignition and my car taken to a compound for not having tax even though it had MOT and insurance, I was told it was a criminal offence even though they could not expand on this but just kept repeating it mantra style over and over I eventually walked away as it was clear they were not going to listen does anyone know if they have acted illegally

They've certainly acted Unlawfully, NO-ONES PROPERTY CAN BE SEIZED WITHOUT AN ORDER OF A COURT, that is the Common Law.

Any Police Constable, as an officer of the Common Law, who aids and/abets the commission of an offence, is an Accessory to that offence. It's about time that they realised this, or at least remembered this.

REAL LAW IS THE COMMON LAW, not some bull***t from Westminster. IMHO.

just a quick update I reported my car stolen to the police when i told the it was in Aug last year they were a bit confused I told the I had been researching the course of action to take which left them even more confused I also told them that i knew the first name of one of the thiefs and where he worked and could id him when I told him it was a guy called Simon from the DVLA and that he had been working with local police in the Henley green area of Coventry in mid Aug I think he must have thought I had lost the plot he then asked if the car was legal I told him it was and that the car was nor registered with the DVLA he said thats the problem right there you were commiting a criminal offence driving it on the public highway to which I replied would I be charged he said I would I said I had'nt he went away and came back a few minutes later and said this matter had been dealt with, so i told him I wanted to lodge a formal complaint aginst the persons that took the car he gave me a form to fill in to lodge a formal complaint about the quality of service i had recieved

car stolen by nobody..............the dvla is and has always been the legal owner...........you my friend were the owner of the equitable title with a fudiciary duty to pay up like a good little slave...........sad but true...the gov obtain the manufacturers cert of origin that proves legal title ..... my suggestion would be to put a lien on the fucker

i asked the dvla about this,

they said the bill of sale/receipt shows who the owner of the car is

I think you need to drive around with an Affritdavit of truth, which you show to the officer. Don;t quote me on this, as I'm not sure. There isn't any real pool of information that i can find on deregistering a car or driving it.

they said the bill of sale/receipt shows who the owner of the car is

Ask the DVLA to confirm in writing that you own the car. If they do this, then the car was stolen, as it is yours. Then write them a letter saying that the car has been sold to "your name here" trust fund and any communication should be sent to the executor of the "your name" trust fund. From this point onwards you own the car legally and they do not.
