Hello everyone,
A few friends and I have been discussing many things from TPUC over the last year or two, we have reached a stage where talking is no longer useful and it's time to start doing.
One of the many things we are looking at starting is the production of hemp plastic products; we are currently researching the legislation and licensing issues surrounding the growth of industrial hemp (the illegal THC content being less than 0.2%). Speculation would suggest that anyone who smoked industrial hemp hoping to get 'high' would be disappointed as it is essentially anti-marijauna and would neutralise any 'high' obtained prior to smoking industiral hemp.
What we are looking for is any information that can be provided on traditional production methods of materials from hemp material. This would cover the basics from removing the bast fibres from the outer ones; storing of the fibre material; using the material to produce fabrics, paper and plastics.
As this is not for personal or material gain, and is in fact for the good of everyone, we feel it is appropriate that everyone can have input as we all have a part to play so to speak.
Thanks in advance and love to you all.
Ricky
