I want to know if crime has risen,rape has risen,stabbings have risen,theft,burglary you name it,in the decade they have lived there, and they have been found to be the guilty parties time after time because i bet you they have not!!

I think you'll find the answer to some of that is yes. Like theft, vandalism, defecating in gadens? Maybe some of the opinions here would change if one actually lived next door? (which I am guessing is NOT Vanessa Redgrave and her ilk). Maybe you should ask the people along the route of Appleby Horse Fair what they think about travellers? Maybe you should listen to some of the locals near the 'Farm'? They are not some poor innocents. These travellers who are not travellers, bought and occupied the land knowing full well what they were doing. Let's not grant them the status of heros of the Freeman movement. Leeches and rogues is more like it. It's called wanting all of the rights and none of the responsibilities. And let's not mention the fact that they offered to sell the site to the council for a hefty profit!
I suppose I will be labelled a 'racist' now for daring to go against the site norm.

I think you'll find the answer to some of that is yes. Like theft, vandalism, defecating in gadens? do you in your hate have proof these people do all you say?...on site there are many toilets are you suggesting they dont use these preferring to use peoples gardens? Maybe some of the opinions here would change if one actually lived next door? do you live next door to dale farm, if not are you in any better position than those you suggest have no idea? Maybe you should ask the people along the route of Appleby Horse Fair what they think about travellers? do you mean ask them what they think about those travellers who go to the fair or all travellers because of their experience of those travellers going to the fair, should people around the world judge british people on what some british tourists do in their country? The people around appleby fair welcome the travellers because of the injection of needed money to the area.. Maybe you should listen to some of the locals near the 'Farm'? there are many locals near the farm who have supported the farm or do you mean listen only to the ones that dont support the farmThey are not some poor innocents. These travellers who are not travellers, can you explain that? bought and occupied the land knowing full well what they were doing. they were advised by the tory government in 1994 that they should go and buy land and live on it...basildon council also implied they would pass the land then reneged on that Let's not grant them the status of heros of the Freeman movement. why not? arent they just that, freemen on the land, can you think of a better example of being a freeman...Leeches and rogues is more like it. your bigotry is showing here any proof of what you contend? or did the sun tell you this?It's called wanting all of the rights and none of the responsibilities. can you explain that as your trying to sound like an expert in something or otherAnd let's not mention the fact that they offered to sell the site to the council for a hefty profit! the price they put on the land was a fair one, the council are willing to spend 18 millon to get the land, they offered it for 6 millon...any fool would of taken the offer, it must also be understood that the 6 millon wouldn't of changed hands but would of been by way of the council giving them land to that value for them to move onto..please try to get it right

Before all this gets out of hand.... May i remind all of you that this thread was put here for people to show support to the people at dale farm.

If you would like to discuss this matter in detail i will ask that you start another thread. But before you do that i would like to remind every one. You can find nasty, vile, criminals, rapists, sex offenders and what ever else you want to call them in all works of life.

It doesnt matter what religion, ethnic group or anything for that matter, you will always find people that are down right nasty.

Its very likely the eviction will take place but the residents and the handfull of loyal supporters will of held off the storm trooping bailiffs and their police brethren a lot longer than expected, think what might of happened if many more had joined them behind the barricades...this was a freeman and human rights issue...where were the freemen and those purporting to be or want to be free?

To paraphrase Shakespeare's Henry the V

Its a disgrace to our so called 'freedom loving' country that these people are being harassed.
