its a statement of fact that the only way they could get a genetic marker to differentiate from the rest of the Irish population is to spend a few hundred years progressively reducing the gene pool, by breeding with in a ''family'' community.

you can say much the same for( most) of the population of Norwich, that have a similar genetic marker, but no one is suggesting they are an ethic minority ?

You are of course assuming the Pavee is from the celtic race? ie is Irish!

Each race will have strands that are the same as each other because of the inter breeding with people of the same race and of course some that are different. Much of the worlds DNA will be the same, some strands will be more common than others, But there is a single strand among the Pavee that is not linked to others, ie rare!

BTW all Humans are linked so any kind of breeding is inbreeding.

yes the whole of the EUROPEAN royal family or their descendants where no royal family exists any more have unique dna marker that would show that prince Charles is related to them, because that's what it means is your a blood relative, there is no other way it can come about, you don't get them by proximity, so if travelers have a marker it mean they are all cousins
