Do you not research anything yourself? When you read through the hundreds of topics posted do you not read them thoroughly. If something interesting comes to your attention do you not go seek to find yourself. I am not discussing anything further with you.... which includes here and across the forum.

Farewell Garbal...enjoy the rest of your stay

your trying to draw parallels with a very rare disease that does admittedly effect humans, with claims that phones cause cancer of which there is little, if any evidence

its the equivalent of trying to use evidence that arsenic is dangerous to show that lettuce is, its just nonsense

How rare is rare, isn't there some thought that Alzheimer's and dementia might be CJD? Ss dmgc01 was alluding to in regards to phone cancer, The time period to prove one way or the other hasn't lapsed yet so its all conjecture. So who's to say if CJD is as rare as you like to think?

BTW that is one of the worse analogies i have seen. Im half tempted to use an analogy to describe how bad it is..

it doesn't matter how rare or otherwise CJD is, it doesn't in anyway show that mobys are dangerous, does it ?

if you don't like that one, try, its like saying that asbestos is dangerous therefore fridges are, it doesn't matter what the items are, its still a false comparison

Neither does you saying because there hasn't (as yet) been an epidemic of brain cancer (time lapse remember) they are not dangerous. When do you find out if a tame tiger is really tame? When it attacks you!

As for your analogy....it doesn't really deal with the issue does it, it's a bit like a wasp turning up for tea when you invited a bee!

sorry was it a hard question, did you mean that the usual suspects are up in arms or that there is some legitimate Science based concerns like there is over say asbestos ?

it doesn't matter how much research i do, i still cant read your mind

i didnt say it wasn't dangerous, i asked for what evidence there is, that it causes brain cancer ,we are bombarded with EMR all the time from space, what we produce is hardly noticeable against the base level, we can play all sorts of games, saying anything might turn out to be so, its not really grounds to start a panic over lettuce or fridges or alarmclocks is it ?

no one has established alarm clocks arnt dangerous, ban them, have a word with yourself,

But alarm clocks have been round long enough to have been proven harmless, unless of course lazyitis is a disease?
Time wise this is NOT the case with with contaminated meat and mobile phones, only time will tell if they do, as many believe, cause CJD (mad cow disease) and brain cancer respectively! Do you eat a lot of beef?

you cant prove anything harmless, you can only prove it does harms people, anything else remains an unknow, the best you can say for anything is it wont harm people in specified doses, a fridge will harm you if you drink enough of the coolant, if you eat enough lettuce you will die and if you put 10 million radioactive alarm clocks in the same room as you, you may regret it, especially if the alarms all went off together
you could well draw a correlation between the use of radioactive material on clock hands and the rise of diagnosed cancers, but then you could do that for electric kettes as well and bananas but not mobys, unless you care to post the graph

simply saying we dont know if its harmful is the only thing that can be said for anything, the burden of proof then rest with those who affirm

i admit we dont know if cancers will suddenly appear as a result of mobies, in 50 years time, but we dont know if they will because of fridge magnets either
