i hate working links! in my opinion its scam, i am an artist, im very good if i say so myself and art is my life, i live to create and cant imagine ever doing anything else, this doesnt make me a bad person, i have served in the navy, worked for the royal mail, worked in a shop etc, im not lazy by any stretch of the imagination, my days of unemployment are filled with creativity as i am trying to get established in my area as an artist, its a tough industry to enter but my only hope of getting the life i want is through my artwork, But working links dont give a damn about what i want and my ambition and energy to succeed, all they want is to write me off the benefit so they can claim payment for getting someone in work, they care not wether its what i want for myself, that doesnt get them paid. now they phycologically profile people on their abismal computer system. this is communism people! last time i was a working links my advisor was unhappy that i had not applied for any work andhtreatened me with 3 months of unpaid work for some local company, to which i suggested to him that was communism, slavery and , i aslo suggested to him that was he to force that upon me it may bite him in the backside because whilst i cant take the government to court because they cover themselves with legislation, he himself as a citizen wasnt protected from civil court action for forcing slavery upon me. it was never forced upon me in the end, infact he himself volunteered last year to leave his job, he knew working links was a joke and more or less admitted it to me.
fight for your rights people or the corporate fascist regime will establish itself so deeply it will be over for freedom in this country, if you can call what we have freedom, thats open for debate.but it can get worse and will do if people dont stand up and say no more. its quite scary to stand up to the system when you are in a cap in hand situation but stan up we must, and we muat stand together or hang separately. good luck

Last thursday I went for my usual fortnightly signing time, now the time before I had a pratt who threatened me with sanctions to which I replied "But I am not Libyan"? whats next "bombing runs on my house? and he sat there completely emotionless and expressionless (pratt)

This time I got the "bitch puppet from hell treatment" "So what did you do to look for work in the past two weeks"? I said "its been the xmas period with most things shut there was nothing to look for" she said "The agreement is that you look for work 7 days a week, 365 a year?" NO IT DOESNT :o

So then she said "I am afraid I will have to REPORT! you, and your benefits could be suspended" woohoo she was a on real ego power trip  I said it doesnt say that at all, what it says is that I will make all available attempts at looking for work for at least 2 hours a day and apply for three jobs a week "if available" she too sat there with her totally emotionless response and I swear she was beginning to hyperventilate. OOOH boy she was luvin it, she is a real puppet. I pointed out that there are 2.3 million people unemployed in this country and only half a million jobs and as I am over 55 I am statistically 84% less likely to GET the job. She said "Try harder"  oh boy these JC types are really fkd up and I would quite glad to see those "types" hanging from fekkin lamposts. They are pathetic.

I had the same once and when they are dead within you can appeal to any sense of morality that may awaken momentarily, but it does need recognising. And emotions will block your own sense and it will be pushed to the limits. I've even had some chap make phone calls for job inquiries and put the phone in my face. Keep cool, peace of mind and you can really show them up and shame them for what they are. He may even of lost his job over that as it didn't go down very well with his co workers.

LOL!
I nearly spat my tea out, and I finished drinking it 5 minutes ago!
TOP TIP: DRIVERS. Save money by putting much larger wheels on the back of your car.
That way you will always be going downhill, thereby saving on fuel.

Yes but the guy sat there like an automaton, lifeless and emotionless, didnt see the funny side of that :( the look on his face was one like I had just crapped on his keyboard. The past three times Ive signed on have been like walking into a world where their own lives are perfect and your shit because you dont work. Its all a part of the common purpose training manual, you are a part of the system or your an outsider and I can see exactly where all this is going. Its devisive, its extreme and as the fear grows in the EU and London the paranoia will make these idiots do lots of knee jerk reactions and petty schemes that are going to destroy the system of social care in this country and the IMF is going to be behind it along with institutions and think tanks that believe we should return to the days of manorial law and feudal systems when "they" held real power. Unfortunately that isnt going to work.

I'm going to sign on tomorrow, not looking forward to it. The last time I signed on was 2 years ago. It was also around the time I really started to read about Marxism and how it's being implemented into our society. I soon realized I didn't need to be afraid of these people that interview you, they are just people taking the place of computers. They are not allowed to use their own common sense and judge whether you're lying on your stupid little job diary or not, all I needed to do was follow their guidelines on what constitutes ' 3 job efforts a week ' and they couldn't do jack. I used to go in there, sit down, they'd try and start conversations with me about work and I'd only give vague answers: 'how's the job search going?', I'd reply 'ok'.

Like clockwork they do these 'how you getting on' interviews every 3 months which get worse the longer you stay on. They go through a list of jobs with you from their own website that you have access to at home. To seem keen I'd tell them to pick out 3-4 random jobs and the interview would soon be over. To avoid awkward moments at the next interview I'd simply stop going to the job centre and they'd cancel my claim for not turning up. After 2 weeks or so you simply start a new claim and the process repeats itself. You basically have 3 months of no one fucking with you which is what I like. I've been round all the job agencies in my town and they have nothing for me, such shame set my hopes on saving money to go to Thailand.

you do know the dance.....made me chuckle reading that
The Nanny tells the children to play freely and safely...
while locking the doors and taking away the toys....to SELL them!

There's something I find very unmotivational about signing on, I make more effort when I'm off it and I have no one badgering me about it. But alas I'm out of money so..
