Dear Sir and madam
I would beseech you not to award Mr T Ball council boss of the year. The whole matter of Dale Farm is still being played out in Essex and court rooms and the council stand accused of over enforcing!
To award him while this is out standing and seemingly for the destruction of peoples land, regardless of the rights or wrongs of the case, really does seem crass and would further smear the name of this country in the eyes of the world.
The fact that the council were considering a list of greenbelt land for future development while planning and orchestrating the clearance of Dale farm is worrying.
Also just recently the council have recommended building a dogs compound with allowance for 2 houses on green belt land in the Basildon council area!
For the sake of the reputation of this country please do not award this accolade to Mr Ball, to do so in my opinion will distract from others who might be in line for it in the future. If the council are found to be guilty of over enforcement in this matter, and there is a good chance they might be, what worth the award then?
Thank you for the time in reading this address.
Yours
Lets not let this man be awarded for his actions.
