Hi Scouse,

You say you caught this arsehole with speed on him .. wht didn't the police charge him with posession ?
Did you make him turn his pockets out ?
... maybe he did what slimline66 suggested you make him do - feed him his wares !!

For me the crime is that he was hanging around 11-13 year old girls doing it. Are those the circumstances you caught him under ?
Has your daughter ever taken speed ? .. how does she know this man ? ... do you know of him ?

Find out these details first before:
a) Putting yourself at risk of an ABH/GBH charge by 'citizen's arrest' ing him on a more fruitful occasion.
b) Making assertions that the CPS should act on insufficient evidence .. as I they never do anyway !
c) Debating on a forum about a scenario with total bias, where is the defendant's side of the story ?

Convince me with facts and figures and give me a locale .. I may be tempted to show you how to deal with a skally - and I'm not even a Scouser ! - I hear you've developed good community policing there without involving the bussies !!
Sound it out on your street man, if you have a valid case, I'm sure it will get sorted. Be honest though it is so easy to start false rumours and start lynch mobs. Don't bear false witness against your neighbour and all that .. people don't like being conned. This isn't a trial by jury !! - I'm confused again !

BIGBADMAN wrote:Ho ho ho,em,certain dangers ?get a grip on your self .dont think ive ever heard of anyone dying or whatever thru a 5- 10 bag of speed. make you dance and sweat all night but not much else, and its not addictive, great stuff ,alcohol on the other hand,13 year old girl drinking a 3£ bottle of cider, shes in real danger.

Speed is addictive! A friend of mine is an addict(to speed)and through his addiction he lost his wife(divorce)and the respect of his family. He's doing well at the moment and has been speed free for a few months.

If anyone tried selling drugs to my children I'd deal with them accordingly. Thankfully they are aware of the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and smoking too! Anyone who thinks its ok to sell drugs to children need their head examining!!!

Lenny

PS Another worry in regard to speed is what is added to it, my friend says that washing powder and other similar products are added to the speed!

... don't it make you think why some more sensitive and responsible parents are weary about what sweets, drinks and e-numbers are doing to cause their child's hyperactivity and mood swings that effect them ?
I think we should let our children be children for as long as they can .. why rush the best part of a person's life intocorruption ?

I have experimented with speed for a short time. I can tell you that it made me focused, paranoid and bad tempered sometimes but also purposeful, yet delusional. I found that it made me antisocial in so far as it would turn a session of leisure into a shift of work ... where we come to addiction ... I found it enhancing to be able to do a shift of minless engineering drilling, flat out on piece rate ... talk to nobody, grining my teeth ... what sort of a robot did this turn me into ? So the brain said "Pack the F~~~ up !" ... and it wasn't easy cold turkeying ... but hey, I'm glad I'm away from that shit.
I know from experience the unhygenic methods some of these dealers employ when as they sell by the gram, they will replce a percentage of that gram with chalk powder, if you are lucky .. I have even heard of scouring powder to add the tang of ammonia .. even the use of urine ... yeah ! ... Like I would let my Little girl put that in her body.

So yeah Scoucer ! The moral of your story is that there are that many potential nicks on the scene that it's a bit of a buyer's market for the justice system ... there are plenty of easier nicks than yours for a better turnover. Keep your eye on your baby Scoucer, nobody can be more responsible for her than you - Next time either get more evidence or sort it yourself ;)
