What I'm trying to say is that's what's going on every day, so perhaps you could elaborate as to whether there is anything particularly which concerns you about it.

I like the "while the sheeple flag-wave" bit, as if the Jubilee is a temporary distraction, since on a normal day reading through Bills is a national pastime.

... here's the thing: It was all "olympics, olympics, olympics" and then suddenly (VERY SUDDENLY, IMO) it was all "queen's jubilee and celebrating her 60 years". She was not alluded to at all before, then suddenly it was all systems go with her 'celebrations'...

Then, simple maths shows that she has not been on the throne for 60 years, but 59.

So.. what's the scam? Why do the sheeple need to be distracted for these three days - and what couldn't wait 'till next year when it would really be 60 years?

The coronation is a formality. Yes the Jubilee officially started 4 months ago, so why have the celebrations in June? Street parties in February aren't as much fun.
