I can't believe how they can get away, and have the cheek to fleece people the way they do
Should be a law against it ! I had same sort of probs with security were I use to work. I refused point blank to pay for a permit at my work place, so in the end they decided it would be funny to try and clamp my car ! After I descovered what they had done as someone informed me, I contacted the security office and explained about the clamp etc, so they told me to wait by my car and they would come round to see me. Three of them turned up in their little white van. After spending 10 minutes arguing the toss with them, they all had smug looks on there faces, and smirking as they begin to tell me how it was going to cost me £50 to have the clamp removed from my car
So I said fine, give me half hour and I'll be back ! So I went home, had a quick coffee and calmed myself down, went back to my car, had the clamp off within seconds, without caursing any damage to the clamp or my car, I put the clamp in my boot and drove my car, around to their poxy little office at the main entrance of my place of work, with a big sticker on my side window explaining it had been clamped etc. I got the undamaged clamp out of my boot, walk into the main entrance, to find the two guy's who clamped me walking towards me, and their faces was a picture, seeing me walking in with this big yellow clamp on my shoulder. I dropped it infront of them, and said here is your clamp back, and please don't try and clamp me again, as I will just keep taking it off
I told my managers what I did, and they just pissed themselves laughing as they had also been victims of clamping themselves. They never bothered me after that, and I still parked on site without a permit
