Hey guys,

Hope you are all well. Just a message to advertise an event that I am co-organising for Aberdeen.

The Event is called TRUTHCON. It is being held by the folks at http://lawfulrebellio... and Brian Gerrish of http://www.ukcolumn.o... .

It will be held at the lounge of the MaltMill on Holburn Street in Aberdeen. Sunday 28th February, 630pm until 1030pm.

Getting these speakers up here is a real oppurtunity to show the rest of the U.K. That Aberdeen is awake and willing to be involved in changing things for the better.

Please pass the link onto others in your Address book and word of mouth is always great too. I have attached an A4-sized poster for printing off. Let's try and get these out all over the city and areas of where others live.

I'll try and get some of the flyers into the University & College for U ...
May I perhaps suggest ( if its not 'cheeky to do so ' ).. that some find their way into the likes of Bruce Millers, R&B Music. The Moorings Bar, and places where they may find a more receptive eye than leaving them in .. say.. Seafield House or BP's reception in Dyce.

Hi,

It is with great regret that I post this. I recieved a phone call this morning (24/02/2010), informing me that due to serious circumstances, that none of the speakers are able to come to Scotland to give their presentations at the TRUTHCON event scheduled for this Sunday 28th February at the Malt Mill Lounge, 1830 - 2230.

I am currently unable to give any details as to the circumstances of their pullout, but I am trying to get in touch with the speakers and will update everyone once I find out the specifics.

This is obviously a massive blow to us all but I would like to encourage anyone who was planning to attend the event to still come along as planned. The idea being, that we can all meet each other and still discuss a range of topics, aswell as putting are heads together to find other ways of holding other events in Aberdeen in the future. Part of the evening was to meet other like minded people anyway and we should not allow the dissapointment of losing the speakers get in the way of this.

I hope to still see all of you on Sunday 1830.
