ARE YOU TAKING STATINS?

ARE YOU TAKING STATINS?

Don't you question that the Government wants everyone over 50 to take a statin, preventative you see, cuts the risk of heart attack. Perhaps it's a good idea to give it to the kids as well?
This sounds very much like the fluoride con.(just type toxicity of Fluoride into your search engine).
Anyway, for all you that still think Fluoride is good for kid's teeth and statins are prescribed by good (but ignorant) men in white coats, then take a look at 300 reasons not to take them.

Its funny you should start this thread as I was thinking of starting something about being lying to by my doctor about statins.

Back in 2001 I was taking to hospital after feeling faint at the train station after walking for half a mile with a heavy keyboard in its heavy flight case...after a cholesterol test at the hospital showed my cholesterol was 6.1, I was told if I dont sort it out, I could be dead in the next 6 to 12 months. anyway, fast forward 9 years to january 2010, I had another test which came out as something like 6.3. I was prescribed symvostatin. I told the doctor of my concerns about statins but he assured me they were safe...and he whispered to me "I'll tell you a little secret........I take them too, they haven't done me any harm, but I have to take them".......

Now..the time line and cholesterol results are probably inaccurate as I can't quite remember.. I do believe I went for a test in around 2006 which the results were a "dangerously high" 7.1 and think I may have actually taken some of the symvostatins... but at the end of 2006 I suffered excruciating pain in my stomach, chest, neck, shoulders and down my left arm! (even today, my left index finger has a slight numbness and tingling) Unbelievable pain which I've never experienced before..the doctor at the time put it down to some problem in my neck (which I suppose is possible) but I actually thought I was dying...so much so I got my parents to take me to the hospital who wouldn't actually see me because I had already seen my doctor about this problem (me and my big mouth). Anyway, I have seen similar symptoms as a result of taking statins, but as I can't actually remember when, or for how long I actually took them, I can't really connect the problem I had with the statins.

Anyway, I recently went for another test at the doctors...almost 2 years after my last one! The results came back as 8.1. (back in 2001 I was lead to believe that 6.1 was dangerously high and that I could die soon...which I suppose is possible, but Im still here).... ..Now its 8.1 and again I was told by my doctor that I should do something about it...so he prescribed symvostatin again. I once again told him of my concerns about statins and again he tried to reassure me...but he used the same tactic as before...whispering his "little secret" to me in that he takes them... he said almost exactly what he said 2 years ago, word for word and in exactly the same way...whispering. So, according to him, he's been on statins for 2 years! Is he lying to me to push this drug onto me? btw..the previous 2 tests were while under him as my doctor, but previous tests were under different doctors who all seem to go for this symvostatin.

Please forgive any inconsistancies with what I say...its hard to remember exactly how things happened and my memory isn't great anyway.

Yeh talk about timing my doctor has had me on shit loads of tablets including these, only yesterday I was in the doctors about a problem and getting a fresh subscription and got some tablets that I was a little suspicious of (due to the last time of medication change the chemist refused to give me what was subscribed saying in his own words combined with the tablets that I was already on by introducing this would actually bring about a hart attack) so I looked them up on the net before taking to find the new ones are mainly used by women to assist in the production of breast milk and as a bloke of 47 I don’t think I’m going to be doing any breastfeeding soon nor have a desire to grow a set of baps  the list of side effects was massive including loosing control of limbs by way of uncontrolled movements along with eye control, just what you want when driving the wife to the shops

Anyway I noticed the doctor also "forgot" to add the statins to my list of medication and thought I’ll ring up on Monday for a subscription, now I have had a quick look at the reasons not to take statins and there are many 10 letter words I cant pronounce on that site but picked one out of the blue to Wiki it and low and behold a few of the problems I have including the complaint I was for there yesterday are listed as a result of taking statins  now the question is did the doctor forget to re-subscribe or deliberately remove statins from the list of shite I’m on without giving reason I cant help wonder

Hi Guys,
I am in the biz and I work with some of the world's leading doctors and scientists.
So, Martin, it is not the number you are given that is the problem (my Cholesterol is 8.3 and has been for years).
It is the balance between High density Lipid Protein (HDL) and Low Level (LDL).
Both play an important role in the body. see www.heart-info.co.uk
Jeff, you are on the right track (partially)
Ubiquinol is formed from Ubiquinone in the body, the ability of Ubiquinone to be absorbed is very small particularly if not taken with food as a lipid carrier is needed to help absorbtion. Do not believe the hype or the priceing of Ubiquinol supplements. The only form that I recommend is in a Liposomal form where the absorbption is in excess of 90% Your coconut oils is good, however, contrary to popular belief, you need a balance of Omega 6 and Omega 3 in favour of Omega 6! Do not take fish oil under any circumstances. see www.brianpeskin.com
If anyone continues to take statins, THEY MUST, take a CoEnzyme Q10. The metabolic pathway for the production of this vital enzyme is blocked by a statin. Again, the only good CoQ10 is in a Liposomal form.
Cholestrol is a vital substance produced by the body, it is the glue that holds the cellular structure together.
The idea to lower the production is junk science.
One of the fastest growing problems is Alzeimers in the Western world, hint-they don't suffer from this in the third world but, guess what, they don't take statins!
EVERYONE MUST NOW TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIER OWN HEALTH AND DO THE RESEARCH.

My husband was prescribed statins after being called into the wellman clinic for a over fifty check up.

Prompting him to do some research resulted in the prescription finding it's way to landfill i'm pleased to say.

Niacin - also known as vitamin B3.
Causes the blood vessels to widen temporarily, which is also known as the niacin flush and results in temporary redness or the flush effect.
Helps the body clean the blood vessels.
Improves blood circulation.
Is a known anti-carcinogen.
Help to regulate and break down oils & fats correctly naturally lowering cholesterol as a result in most people.
Causes what is known as the niacin flush which lasts for 10 - 30 minutes. This occurs because the blood vessels widen temporarily allowing toxins to be flushed form tissues more effectively. Histamines are also produced during this time causing slight itchiness but this is a healthy sign as more water and blood travel to the site and aid in the clearance of toxins.
Helps to increase the rate at which tissues heal.

The kind of niacin to use is the type that causes you to flush. There is no advantage in the slow release type nad some slow release can be harmful for the liver.
Niacin (B3) was widely prescribed by doctors before modern chemicals such as statins took their place.
Statins cost more, cause long term liver damage, often require additional drugs to counter side effects and have numerous contraindications to health.
Niacin is natural, cheap and healthful with little or no contraindications.
Niacin taken after or during food consumption reduces or completely stops flushing occurring but hte healthful effects of niacin remain!
Obviously the interests of doctors lie with the pharmaceutical companies! Some get bonuses from the pharma companies who sponsor their practices when statins and betablockers are prescribed.

Other helpful substances for circulation are butchers broom - good for deep internal parts of the circulatory system.
vanadium helps regulate good circulation and can also cause a slight flush if taken on an empty stomach.

Use google to verify information about these substances for yourselves though!

also look up the dangers of homogenised milk!
