Bristol Council offers a cash prize for paying your rent?

Just because Bristol Councillors like taking bribe, they think we will fall for them.

Rent Bribes

On April 14th, 2008 Mike (not verified) says:

Our landlords (Rhondda Housing Ass.) have also tried this 'carrot & stick' approach, instead of helping those desperatly in need. By the way,if you are on Housing Benefit, you can not be entered because it is paid one month in arrears.

On November 14th, 2007 Sandie Seward says:

Basildon Council had something similar, a competition, but only if your Rent Account was in balence or in credit. If you were behind with your payments then you were banned from entry until you had paid rent up to date.

Typical "carrot and Stick" approach, all probably stemming from the insiduious "Common Purpose" brigade.Regards, Sandie.
